Down2earth Creations is based in Pretoria, South Africa and we cater for projects in the greater Gauteng area and nationally.
We work with individuals and families to ensure the best functional use of external space for their garden design. We design in- and outdoor spaces with our clients needs and personal ideals in mind so they feel relaxed and right at home in it.
Our designs reflect our passion for uplifting and inspirational gardens that draws energy from the natural surroundings and architecture.
A meeting is scheduled between our team and the potential clients on site. The visit allows for in-depth discussions about what you want to achieve in your space, as well as a chance for the team to analyse the project overall goals and constraints. This meeting is crucial to develop a good understanding of the scope of works that you want help with. The measure of the clients involvement in the project is discussed.
We explain Down2earth Creations services, what aspects we handle in-house and what part of the project will be outsourced.
The site is measured and annualized to determine the soil type and condition, sufficient drainage, access points, hidden pipes and cables, unwanted vegetation and structure removal, etc.
Projects based outside Gauteng area inquiries will take place electronically from this stage with site photos and architectural plans shared before a meeting is confirmed. A fee proposal tailored to your job, and outlining the scope of works, will be sent for your consideration.
Consultation cost– R750.00, (Travel cost is quoted separately, per AA rates)
We will need the following information before teh scheduled meeting to ensure a productive meeting:
- A set of On-scale house plans (PDF Format or hard copy)
- Current pictures of the house and garden.
- Pictures and ideas of the type of garden style and elements your prefer.
- Budget for the project
- Time schedule, date the project must start, duration and expected finish
Following this meeting, our team will prepare a design fee proposal based on your agreed scope of work for your approval.
